A Day Of Silence

One family tradition that has been going on in our family since Michelle was two, is celebrating Dr.Martin Luther King Jr's birthday with a cake after dinner. It is something simple, and a great reminder to my children on how important life is, and just how well you want to live it. What would you what someone to remember about you on your birthday?

Today we went out to brunch and enjoyed a great meal and wholesome conversation just us! We share a lot not only our home, but we share each others' time with a whole lot of people. It is something we love to do, but we also like to spend quality time with just each other some days. I had great plans set today, but instead we all ended up snoozing:)

When I finally awaken I found Ken learning about The Golden Bridge. It just goes to show you, when a child is ready to learn that is what they will do even when your napping.
